Visual and Performing Arts
An appreciation and understanding of how the Visual and Performing Arts influence cultures and express individuals is harnessed through the Avon School K-8 Art and Music curricula and the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. Students participate in the creative process of art, music, dance, and theater while learning about the history of the arts across cultures. Perspectives are developed through critique and analysis while skill sets are expressed through a range of artistic styles and processes.
